On the 19 november 2015, I'm invited by Dr. Olivier Castelnau to give a talk at the PIMM laboratory (Processes and Engeneering in Mechanics and Materials) on the "Contribution of Atomistic Simulations towards Multiscale Modeling and Understanding of the Life of Defects in Crystalline Materials".

On the November 5-6, 2015, the general meeting on the Mechanics of Nano-objects of the GDRi (International Research Group) MECANO of the CNRS will take place in Marseille, hosted by Im2np.

I will give an oral presentation on Evidence of pre-strain influence on FIB machining and resulting mechanical properties in silicon.

On the 29-30 October 2015, the 50th anniversary of the Institute for Materials Science I where I'm working, will be celebrated.

An International Symposium on Microstructures and Mechanical Properties of Advanced Metallic Materials will be held at the Institute. International invited speakers will include, e.g., Prof Karsten Durst, Prof Peter Gumbsch, Prof George Pharr, Dr Cathie Rae, etc.

On the 24th October 2015, our group will participate to "Die Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften". It's a science festival organized in the cities of Nürnberg-F̈ürth-Erlangen, which propose to open the public and private lab to the public. A wonderful opportunity to popularize sciences & techniques!
